A SHARED VISION. A PERSONAL APPROACH.03 / THE PEOPLE BEHIND KBL
Design meets craft.
Brian meets Kim.
KBL Design is the partnership of Brian Lee and Kim Whitworth. We bring complementary perspectives to a shared purpose: creating indoor and outdoor spaces that feel right for the people who call them home.
Kim leads the creative vision and spatial planning. Brian brings the construction knowledge and hands-on approach to craftsmanship. Together, we connect the big picture with the details that make it real.

WELCOME HOME
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Before we begin.
Where do you work?
We serve homeowners throughout Contra Costa County, including Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Danville, and Alamo. Tell us where your home is and we can discuss whether your project is a fit.
Can you help with both indoor and outdoor spaces?
Yes. Our focus spans kitchens and interiors, outdoor living, and the connection between them. We can start with one area or discuss a cohesive vision for your property.
What should I have ready for a first conversation?
A few thoughts about what you want to change are enough. Photos, inspiration, a general budget, and your preferred timing are helpful if you have them. You don’t need a finished design to reach out.
How much will my project cost, and how long will it take?
Cost and timing depend on the scope, site conditions, material selections, and any required approvals. We’ll discuss these factors with you before outlining the next steps for your project.
LET’S START WITH A CONVERSATION
What does home
look like to you?
Tell us a little about your space and what you’re imagining. We’d love to hear your ideas.
